Dr. Gershenbaum is certified in many different treatments and Follicle Transplant Surgery. A renowned specialist in aesthetic cosmetic operations, he also has specialized training in surgery for birth defects, traumatic injuries, and deformities from cancer including microsurgery and breast refinement. Dr. Gershenbaum has completed a rigorous general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York prior to his Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He has also studied under several world-renowned authorities in plastic surgery. He is a Diplomate of the National Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners, a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, and a Diplomate of the America Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Greater Society of Miami Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. He is certified in Advanced and Basic Cardiac Life Support.
